How can I reserve a room?

You can check your reservation, payment, and reservation confirmation on the reservation page of the official Kosmos resort website. Elderly or disabled guests who are unable to use the computer can make a reservation by phone (054-791-7788), and once reserved by phone, payments can be made to the resort account (Nonghyeup 301 -173 9027 61 / Ulleung KOSMOS) within 24 hours of reservation. Since it is a real-time reservation system, reservations may not be coordinated in a timely-fashion and standby/waiting reservation are not possible.

How can I check the remaining rooms?

You can check the remaining rooms either on the reservation page of the official website or contact through phone at 054-791-7788. If you are using the reservation page on the official website, you can find the remaining rooms more easily by searching the rooms on a monthly basis based on your specific schedule. Furthermore, reservations and cancellations are reflected in real-time, so our resort recommend checking our rooms through the official website.

How much is the room charge?

Room charges vary by season, room type, and package. Deluxe twin-bed rooms are sold in a range of 500,000 to 320,000 won. For detailed information, please check the reservation page of our official website.

When can I make a reservation?

Reservations for July and August of 2021 are scheduled to open in May, and further information about the schedules will be available on either our official website or our Instagram. If all rooms have been booked even during the period of availability, the reservation page will appear as “Unable to make reservation”. You can easily check the canceled rooms by searching the schedule on a monthly basis (e.g. 3/1 – 3/31).

What is the refund policy?

If the reservation is canceled 10 days prior to the reservation date, you will receive a 100% refund. 10% cancellation fee will be charged if reservation is canceled 8 to 9 days prior to the reservation date, 30% cancellation fee charged if reservation is canceled 6 to 7 days prior, 50% cancellation fee charged if reservation is canceled 4 to 5 days prior, 70% cancellation fee if reservation is canceled 2 to 3 days prior and 100% cancellation fee charged if reservation is canceled 1 day prior to the reservation date.

How is the refund policy processed if the flight is cancelled?

In the event of flight cancellation, a 100% refund will be processed.

Where can I take a ferry in order to travel to Ulleungdo Island?

Ferries bound for Ulleungdo can be ridden in Gangneung, Mukho (Cisspoville), Hupo (JH Ferry), and Pohang (Daejeo Shipping, Taesung Shipping). Ports in Ulleungdo Islan include Jeodong Port, Dodong Port, and Sadong Port. It takes about 10 minutes to drive between the ports in Ulleungdo.

When can I board the ferry?

Generally, ferries bound for Ulleungdo will depart from each port at 8:00 – 9:00 am, and ferries bound for Ulleungdo will leave to the land at 13:00 – 15:00 pm. However, the flight schedule is flexible depending on the season, so please refer to each shipping company’s official website for more details.

How can I get to the resort once I arrive at the Ulleungdo port?

There are 3 ways to get to the resort:
1. You can drive to the resort by utilizing a rental car.
2. You can use the shuttle bus operated by the resort. If you want to use the shuttle, please leave a message or contact the front desk when making a reservation.
3. You can use the public transportation. On average, one bus will run per hour, and you can use a call taxi or a tourist taxi.

Can I get a discount on a ship or a rental car?

1. Ferry Discount: Reservations for ships operated by Taesung Shipping (Pohang) and JH Ferry (Hupo) can be made at 30-50% discounted fares depending on the season. You can only make a reservation by phone, and please contact us for detailed discount rates.

What are the facilities offered in the resort?

Cafe Ulla is located on the first floor of the resort, so our guests can have a variety of signature drinks and deserts (macaron etc). Breakfast is always available for our guests in the morning, and lunch and dinner menus are available depending on the season. Please contact the front desk for more information.
Our guests can also eat lunch and dinner, along with simple snacks and craft beer at the Ulla Restaurant located outside the resort. Our guests can also enjoy the mega-Ulla sculpture, spectacular garden views and lighting shows. There are no separate swimming pool facility at our resort.

How do we request for room maintenance?

Room maintenance will be carried out at our guest’s request. Please inform our front desk when our guests check-in to see if the room is cleaned.

Is there a place to dine near the resort?

Our guests can use various restaurants near Cheonbu Port, which is located 5 minutes away by car. Our guests can find more restaurants at Jeodong Port (near Jeodong Passenger Terminal), which is about 25 minutes away.
